Clinic Medical Assistant
Job description
Medix is hiring for a Clinic Medical Assistant for a reputable clinic in the North Oak, Kansas City (64118) area!
Requirements:
- CERTIFIED Medical Assistant
- Good tenure
- Soft Skills Needed: Great attitude, team player mentality, professionalism, hard worker, and able to problem solve on their own
Duties:
- Lots of triage including: patient education pre and post procedure, assessing medical necessity of patient, answering patient's questions, going over lab results, etc.
- Some clinical tasks, as well: rooming patients, taking vitals, obtaining medical histories, preparing exam rooms, assisting with ENT/Derm procedures, etc.
- Patient volume varies by location daily based on the provider. Each provider averages 25-35 patients per day. Some days there are 2 providers at a location and some days there are 4-5 providers at a location.
Schedule:
- M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm
