Medix is hiring a clinic LPN for a contract to hire role in Barberton, OH. This is sa great opportunity to be a part of a team that shares a common vision of quality, community-based care for all!

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Review patient schedules, prepare charts, and address call-back messages from the previous day.
• Room patients and perform assessments, including vitals, injections, blood draws, EKGs, COVID tests, INR finger pricks, and medication reconciliation.
• Assist with minor procedures such as ear lavage, suture removal, B12 shots, pap smears, and IUD insertions/removals (specific to Dr. Bortell).
• Document all patient information and encounters using eClinicalWorks (ECW).
• Manage outbound "telephone encounters," including medication questions, lab results, and provider follow-ups (average: 15 calls/day).
• Expect to see 17-20 patients per day.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• LPN License, state of Ohio
• AHA BLS
• Minimum 1 year experience

Schedule/ Shift:

• Will be working 3 x12 hour shifts per week as well as one 4-5 hour day to reach a full 40 hours - Rotating the below schedules on a weekly basis:
• Week 1: 7AM-7PM Mon/Tues/Weds, Thurs: flexible 4-5 hr shift
• Week 2: 7AM-7PM Weds/Thurs/Fri, Tues: flexible 4-5 hr shift
