Circulatory OR RN
Job description
Title: Circulatory OR Registered Nurse
Day to Day:
- Circulate throughout ORs to assist with nursing support
- Cases: Range of specialities: Endo, Ortho, Plastic, Derm, Gastro etc.
- Case load will vary per day and per speciality - Endoscopy day would be 10+ potentially, while Ortho could be 2-3 / day
- Resposible for helping to oversee the flow of the surgical staff, assisting in surgeries pre and post op, assisting with patients education, prep'ing patients for OR, education and monitoring patients
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience required
- Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
- BLS - nonspecific, can obtain ACLS/PALS post hire
Shift:
- M-F 6:30-5p
- *OR closes at 4 so likely leave at 4/4:30 but if things run late flexibilty is needed
