Job Title: Circulator RN

Department: Surgery Center

Overview

Responsible for rendering care to patients undergoing surgical procedures within the center. Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff exhibiting teamwork characteristics. May be responsible for ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments. May transport patients to and from operating room or procedure room. Assists with the cleanliness of procedure room area and assists with procedure room turnover

  • Starts and finishes cases
  • Assists with unloading and stocking of equipment
  • Supervises and directs patient care in the OR / procedure room
  • Assists with the surgical equipment and inventory
  • Transports patients to and from operating / procedure room
  • Documents medical records
  • Administers medications per order of the physician

Requirements

  • RN License - MA
  • Sports medicine / Ortho experience
  • Prior scrub experience
  • PALS

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required upon hire.
