Job Description:

Responsibilities/Job Duties:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care during orthopedic surgeries. Duties include ensuring patient safety, organizing resources, maintaining sterile environments, and assisting the surgical team with instrumentation. The Circulator is also responsible for verifying patient identity and surgical procedures, communicating with the team, and educating patients. Additional responsibilities include preparing the operating room, anticipating the surgical team's needs, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge of OR practices, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:

• Education: ASN (Associates in Nursing) required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of OR Circulator experience, with a focus on orthopedic procedures
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Skills: Knowledge of OR nursing practices, strong communication, and crisis management skills
