Chemical Quality Inspector

Earth City, MO 63045

Monday - Thursday, 3PM to 1:30AM

Pay: $18/HR - $22/HR, based on experience

Duration: 6 month contract to direct hire

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in quality control or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all production lines at the manufacturing plant.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of products, adhering to good documentation practices.
  • Maintain effective communication with management at all levels.
  • Verify and approve production startup on shop orders and/or Batch Records.
  • Perform First Articles to validate and approve production startup on shop orders and Batch Records.
  • Properly annotate failures according to company procedures, document materials and processes, and communicate with operators and Lead staff.
  • Collaborate with the team throughout the shift to ensure all duties and inspections are completed.
  • Cross-train on all inspection duties and assist in training new employees.
  • Perform other assigned job duties as required.
