Join Our Growing Health Center as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)!

Join our vibrant health center in Swissvale, PA, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive family medicine services to individuals of all ages. Work alongside a passionate and dedicated team in a supportive environment that fosters collaboration and professional growth.

Location: Swissvale, PA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
On-Call: Rotating responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in our medical/primary care setting, supported by a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) and Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Conduct thorough physical exams and obtain complete medical histories.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, integrating data for preliminary diagnoses and therapeutic plans.
  • Administer medications and injections in compliance with state law and health center guidelines, providing education to patients and families.
  • Triage patient calls, manage consultations, and perform administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Participate in educational and research activities, including precepting students.
  • Comply with regulatory agency requirements (OSHA, CUA, PA Department of Health).
  • Handle insurance pre-authorizations and demonstrate problem-solving skills to enhance patient care.
  • Assist in patient scheduling and coordination, ensuring effective communication and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program (BSN required; MSN preferred).
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Clearances: Act 33/34 and Act 73 (FBI).
  • 2+ years of clinical experience preferred; open to considering new graduates with the right profile.
  • Strong knowledge of medical practices within a primary care setting and proficiency with EMR systems and medical devices.
