Job description
We are hiring for a Certified Phlebotomist in the Scottsdale, AZ area!
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and organize patient samples, including blood, tissue, and other bodily fluids.
- Prepare and process samples for standard testing and analysis.
- Package and ship samples to external laboratories as needed.
- Accurately document results for future analysis and reference.
- Track and manage inventory of samples and laboratory supplies.
- Ensure the workspace remains clean and organized.
- Operate under the guidance and supervision of a medical technologist.
Qualifications:
- Valid CPT Certification
- Previous experience as a clinical technician or in other related fields
- Familiarity with common medical terminology
- Experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong organizational skills
Additional Details:
- Location: Scottsdale, AZ (85260)
- Hourly Pay: $15/hr-19/hr (Dependent on background and Years of experience)
- Hours: Monday - Friday; Normal Business Hours (Onsite 5 Days a Week)
- Duration: ~6 month Contract to Hire (~1,040 hours) - contracted probationary period into direct hire/permanent position
- Requirements: Previous Clinical Experience; Experience performing Blood Draws; Certified Phlebotomist
