Job description

Medix's Texas-based client is looking for Certified Pharmacy Technicians to work fully remote!! Apply if qualified and interested!

  • MUST be Certified within the state of Texas
  • MUST live within the state of Texas
  • MUST be able to commit to the 4-week training period without any time off
    • Training is M-F 8 to 5 PM CST

Title: Certified Pharmacy Technician
Duration: Contract to hire - 800 hrs (5-6 months) before converting to full time employee status
Location: REMOTE
Pay: $18.50

Shift 1M/Tues/Th/Fri2:30 pm - 11pm
Shift 2Tues/W/TH/Sat11:30 am - 8pm
Shift 3Tues/W/TH/Sat9:30 - 8
Shift 4Tues/W/TH/Sun9:30 - 8
Shift 5M-F2:30 - 11pm
Overview
  • Speaking to patients 100% of the time on the phone or through messaging to provide their medications needs.
  • Addressing billing issues by preparing and submitting third-party insurance claims.
  • Troubleshooting complex pharmacy cases.
  • Delivering extraordinary customer service while handling patient escalations.
  • Work closely with doctors' office to manage refill requests, prior authorizations and coverage determinations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of CPhT experience
  • 1+ years of Pharmacy Billing experience
  • 1+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Active CPhT license/good standing with Texas Board of Pharmacy
Nice to Have Skills
  • Fertility Pharmacy experience
  • Prior remote work experience
  • Macbook/Apple product experience
