Certified Pharmacy Technician II (CPT)
Job description
The Company:
- A growing pharmaceutical organization with a base in Plano, TX!
The Position:
- As a Pharmacy Technician, you will use your advanced knowledge working in a pharmacy to prepare and submit third-party insurance claims using our custom-built pharmacy management system. Additional responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex cases. You'll also deliver extraordinary customer service while handling patient escalations via phone, text, chat, and email.
- Opportunity for Remote after 2 weeks of In-person training (Lewisville; TX)
- 5 months Contract to Hire
Duties:
- Troubleshoot prescription issues by calling insurance companies, doctors offices, and patients
- Work closely with doctors offices to manage refill requests, prior authorizations, and coverage determinations
- Process patient prescriptions by providing an exemplary patient experience.
- Communication with Providers regarding patient needs.
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
- 2+ years experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
- An active pharmacy technician (PTCB) license in good standing with the Texas
- Exceptional knowledge of commercial and government insurance and how to troubleshoot claims
- Ability to learn and operate a new pharmacy management system and other relevant equipment
- Ability to interpret, transcribe, and troubleshoot prescription information
Soft Skill/Attribute Requirements
- *Strong Computer Literacy
- Strong Communication skills
- Dependable/reliable
The Location:
- Two weeks in Lewisville for training; Remote as long as productivity is maintained
- If prodcutvity is not met, position may be in-person/hybrid
Schedule:
- Various schedules available
- Saturday through Tuesday (12: 30pm - 11pm) preferred
Pay Rate:
- $19-21 per hour
