Job description

Location: Wichita, KS 67226

Position: Pharmacy Technician

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and package unit dose prescription medications.
  • Operate and maintain the Unit Dose Packager machine.
  • Review packaging for accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Log daily shipments.
  • Follow government regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Qualifications:

  • Certified, Non-certified, or Licensed Pharmacy Tech in KS.
  • Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
  • Experience with EMR/pharmacy software.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and 10-20 pounds frequently.
