Certified Pharmacy Technician
Job description
Location: Wichita, KS 67226
Position: Pharmacy Technician
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package unit dose prescription medications.
- Operate and maintain the Unit Dose Packager machine.
- Review packaging for accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Log daily shipments.
- Follow government regulations, including HIPAA.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Qualifications:
- Certified, Non-certified, or Licensed Pharmacy Tech in KS.
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
- Experience with EMR/pharmacy software.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and 10-20 pounds frequently.
