Job Posting: Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of medication orders while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering exceptional service aligned with our brand promise: Pharmacy Made Simple.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medication Fulfillment: Prepare, package, label, and organize medication orders for dispensing and delivery.
  • Supervised Preparation: Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepare medications for final review.
  • Delivery Coordination: Stage and organize orders for timely and accurate customer delivery.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Partner with the Technician Supervisor to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, including checking equipment for calibration and safety.
  • Drug Security: Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all medications.
  • Pharmaceutical Preparation: Mix pharmaceutical preparations under pharmacist supervision, following written prescriptions and protocols.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards while ensuring uncompromising levels of cleanliness and safety.
  • Professional Development: Maintain technical competencies and proficiency in job responsibilities.
  • Special Projects: Assist with additional projects and departmental initiatives as needed.
  • Teamwork: Perform duties with a positive, team-oriented approach to support company goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • National pharmacy technician certification
  • Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices is a plus.
  • Commitment to maintaining professionalism and high ethical standards.

Job Type: Full time

Compensation: $18-22 depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours/week - Various shifts available

Location: Aurora, CO 80011

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
