Hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to primarily work out of their Peoria location with 1 day of travel to the Tempe office!

You will be responsible for performing routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Our goal is to provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction.

• You will be responsible for performing routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly
• Work 1-1 with new PA and will commute to Tempe for 1 day a week
• Our goal is to provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction
• Ensure all diagnostic, test results, imaging and patient information is ready for physician
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, and physicians' instructions to patients
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat, clean and stocked
• Maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
• Authorize drug refills as directed and provide prescription information to pharmacies
• Perform general office duties such as answering patient calls, completing prior authorizations, and scheduling/rescheduling/ canceling appointment
• Cover for all medical assistants as needed during his/her absence
• Prep injections to send to surgery centers and provider
