Now Hiring a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant in a Large Healthcare Organization in the East Valley! Candidate will primarily work out of their Gilbert location with 1 half day travel to their Queen Creek office.
Overview:
You will be responsible for performing routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly
Work 1-1 with provider and will commute to Queen Creek for 1 half day a week
Our goal is to provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction
Ensure all diagnostic, test results, imaging and patient information is ready for physician
Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician
Explain treatment procedures, medications, and physicians' instructions to patients
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat, clean and stocked
Maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
Authorize drug refills as directed and provide prescription information to pharmacies
Perform general office duties such as answering patient calls, completing prior authorizations, and scheduling/rescheduling/ canceling appointment
Cover for all medical assistants as needed during his/her absence
Prep injections to send to surgery centers and provider
Must Haves:
Must be a Certified MA (CMA) or Registered MA (RMA)
HS Diploma
Willing to travel to clinics
CPR/BLS Certification

Schedule/Shift:
Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-3pm, 30 minute lunches
Pay:
$21-$25/hr DOE
$21/hr - 6+ Months of Experience
$25/hr 5+ Years of Experience
