As a Medical Assistant/float you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The goal is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. This is an important position which entails filling in for the medical assistants when they are out, maintaining the clinical flow and helping out where and when needed, training and help preserve the positive energy and team work mentality. This position does require occasional traveling with mileage reimbursement to 3 offices; Irving, Southlake and Ft Worth with Irving being the main office.

Must Have Skills:

• Two years of orthopedic experience (one at the least)
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
• Nextgen experience
• Must be willing to float to the Fort Worth and Southlake locations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Bilingual
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous Float experience

Schedule/shift:

M-Th: 8 am to 4:30 pm / F: 8 am to 1 pm

*Will primarily be in the Irving location, but must be able to float to the Fort Worth and Southlake locations

Pay:

$18- $22/hour
