Medix is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract to hire role within a Primary Care clinic in Cumming, GA.

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Record vital signs and conduct patient intake for accurate medical documentation.
• Prepare patient charts and assist with medical history updates.
• Administer vaccines and injections per provider instructions.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including spirometry, EKGs, and point-of-care testing (Flu, Strep, COVID, A1C, Urine, etc.).

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience in a primary care or family practice setting
• MUST have national certification
• Athena experience preferred

Schedule/ Shift:

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
