Certified Medical Assistant

Peoria/Phoenix Locations!

$18-$25/HR (DOE)

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:=

  • Must be a Certified MA (CMA) or Registered MA (RMA)
  • 1+ year MA experience
  • HS Diploma
  • Willing to travel to clinics
  • CPR/BLS Certification

Responsibilities:

    • You will be responsible for performing routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly
    • Will be working directly with one PA and traveling with their clinic days.
    • Our goal is to provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction
    • Ensure all diagnostic, test results, imaging and patient information is ready for physician
    • Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician
    • Explain treatment procedures, medications, and physicians' instructions to patients
    • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat, clean and stocked
    • Maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
    • Authorize drug refills as directed and provide prescription information to pharmacies
    • Perform general office duties such as answering patient calls, completing prior authorizations, and scheduling/rescheduling/ canceling appointment
    • Cover for all medical assistants as needed during his/her absence
    • Prep injections to send to surgery centers and provider

  • Ensures training methods provided for
    both current and new staff members align with individual employee learning needs
