Job description

We're Hiring Certified Medical Assistants in South Jersey!

Available Locations: Sewell, Stratford, or Mt. Laurel, NJ

Schedules:

  • Sewell: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Stratford: Monday/Tuesday/Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Thursday mornings as needed
  • Mt. Laurel: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM


Are you a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) looking for a rewarding opportunity in South Jersey? Join one of our medical offices in Sewell, Stratford, and Mt. Laurel, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice while providing essential clinical and clerical support.

Key Responsibilities:


Clinical:

  • Assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments, contributing directly to patient care.
  • Take patient histories, vital signs (weight, blood pressure, pulse), and ensure accurate charting.
  • Prepare and maintain patient charts, manage patient calls, and assist with various medical procedures.
  • Prepare medications for injections and assist with rooming patients.
  • Keep exam rooms well-stocked and maintain medical equipment.


Clerical:

  • Manage patient check-ins via the EPIC system, ensuring all demographics and insurance info are accurate.
  • Schedule office visits, verify insurance benefits, and assist with insurance pre-certification.
  • Process new patient charts, ensuring documentation is complete.
  • Support office inventory management and mail handling.
  • Assist with financial deposits and light clerical tasks as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • National Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA).
  • Proficiency in the EPIC system for scheduling and patient information management.
  • A strong combination of clinical and clerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Must be able to travel between Sewell and Washington Township.
