Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our Internal Medicine team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining patient flow, managing in-basket tasks, and performing routine checks to ensure compliance with clinic protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience with the Epic electronic health record system, and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Flow Management: Room patients efficiently, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
  • In-Basket Coverage: Manage administrative and patient-related tasks in the Epic system.
  • Routine Check-offs: Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checks, including expiration dates, oxygen levels, and temperature logs.
  • Paperwork Processing: Assist with documentation and paperwork to support patient care.

Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) (MA-R is not eligible).
  • Epic Experience: Proficiency with the Epic system is required.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Ability to navigate electronic medical records efficiently.
  • Team-Oriented Mindset: Willingness to collaborate and support colleagues.
  • Excellent Attendance & Punctuality: Reliability is key to success in this role.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.

Shift Times: 6:30 AM - 5:15 PM

Weekly Hours: 4 10-hour shifts, Full-time, 40 hours per week

Workdays: Alternating weeks:

  • Week 1: Monday - Thursday
  • Week 2: Tuesday - Friday

Pay:

$24-29 an hour (Depending on experience)
