Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking two motivated and customer-oriented Certified Medical Assistants (MA-C) to join our dynamic family practice team. As a Medical Assistant at our Lynnwood clinic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient flow and delivering quality care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will be part of a team providing general primary care services, along with support for sports medicine and pediatrics. You will be expected to float between multiple providers, assisting with a variety of patient care needs ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Room patients efficiently, following established protocol for patient intake and exit.
  • Administer vaccinations and immunizations (including flu and COVID-19 vaccines).
  • Obtain and document vital signs in EPIC.
  • Manage the In-Basket for physician communication and patient instructions.
  • Coordinate and complete all provider referrals for each patient.
  • Assist the medical provider with charting office visits and ensure comprehensive patient care documentation.
  • Support the high-volume patient care flow, with an anticipated 20+ patients daily, depending on provider assignments.

Requirements:

  • Must have Washington State MA-C certification or possess an MA-Interim License and pass the exam within the 90-day probationary period.
  • Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience in family medicine or EPIC experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • A passion for providing excellent patient care and contributing to community health is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Schedule/Shift:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay:

$21-25 an hour (Depending on experience)
