We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our busy Internal Medicine Department. This role involves providing direct patient care, assisting providers with treatments, and performing essential clinical and administrative duties. Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist providers with patient care procedures and treatments under supervision.

• Conduct patient interviews, record medical history, and update charts in the EHR system.

• Perform basic triage tasks, including measuring height, weight, and blood pressure.

• Administer injections and perform EKGs (experience preferred but not required).

• Prepare and maintain examination rooms to ensure efficiency.

• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient records.

• Maintain stock of medical supplies in exam rooms and supply closets.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.

• Previous experience in an Internal Medicine or similar setting preferred.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full time

Compensation: $19-22 hourly depending on experience

Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm

Location: Washington DC, 20017

Start Date: ASAP

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
