Job description

Join our team as a Medical Assistant, where you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced medical facility. This role involves providing both administrative and clinical support while working directly with a provider and commuting to different clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional patient care to enhance satisfaction and quality of service.
* Prepare and organize diagnostic results, imaging, and patient information for physicians.
* Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
* Educate patients on treatment procedures, medications, and physician instructions.
* Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized treatment room for patient examinations.
* Ensure timely patient flow through effective organization and coordination.
* Handle prescription refills and provide detailed information to pharmacies as directed.
* Perform office duties such as answering patient calls, completing prior authorizations, and managing appointment schedules.
* Provide coverage for other medical assistants during absences.
* Prepare injections for surgery centers and the provider.

Qualifications
* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Current CPR/BLS certification.
* Flexibility to travel to clinic locations.

Preferred Skills
* Experience with EPIC EMR.
* Bilingual in Spanish and English.
* Background in pain management or orthopedics.

Ideal Candidate Attributes
* Energetic, patient, and detail-oriented.
* Able to adapt to a provider's schedule, while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.

Schedule
* Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
* 30-minute lunch breaks

Pay Rate
* $21 to $25 an hour
