Medix is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for a full time, contract opportunity within a Primary Care Clinic in Castle Rock, CO!

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

Support a team of 4 providers by assisting with both front and back office duties, ensuring seamless patient care and clinic operations.
Includes taking vitals, patient intake, chart preparation, administering vaccines and injections, spirometry, EKG, point-of-care testing (Flu, Strep, COVID, A1C, etc.), and occasional phlebotomy.
Answer phones, check patients in, collect co-pays, manage insurance verification, handle prior authorizations, and coordinate referrals.
Assist with 15-23 patients daily, or 20-30 patients if supporting an MD, adapting to the flow of the clinic.
Work in a fast-paced clinic setting where teamwork and adaptability are valued, contributing to both administrative and clinical excellence.
