Medix is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for a full time, contract opportunity within a Primary Care Clinic in Castle Rock, CO!

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Support a team of 4 providers by assisting with both front and back office duties, ensuring seamless patient care and clinic operations.
• Includes taking vitals, patient intake, chart preparation, administering vaccines and injections, spirometry, EKG, point-of-care testing (Flu, Strep, COVID, A1C, etc.), and occasional phlebotomy.
• Answer phones, check patients in, collect co-pays, manage insurance verification, handle prior authorizations, and coordinate referrals.
• Assist with 15-23 patients daily, or 20-30 patients if supporting an MD, adapting to the flow of the clinic.
• Work in a fast-paced clinic setting where teamwork and adaptability are valued, contributing to both administrative and clinical excellence.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience
• High school diploma and graduate of a Medical Assistant program
• National Certification Required

Schedule/ Shift:

• 4x10 hr shifts/wk, days and times may vary
