Job description

Job Title: Clinical Care Assistant (Medical Assistant)

Location: Crosstown, TN

Pay Rate: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Crosstown, TN. The Clinical Care Assistant will support physicians and nurses in the examination and treatment of patients, with opportunities for on-the-job training and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patient charts.
  • Assist with daily patient flow and provide both direct and indirect patient care.
  • Perform EKGs, administer vaccines and medications, and assist in medical procedures as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment and handle equipment and supplies with care.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety regulations.
  • Manage patient records and follow up on missing results as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA).
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and injections.
  • Pediatric experience is required.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts between 7 AM - 7 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Rotating weekends (8 AM - 4 PM) - 1 week day off on the week you work Saturday.
