Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you will perform medical, clerical, and reception duties to support our physicians in the examination and treatment of patients in an outpatient setting. You will contribute to our mission by delivering high-quality patient care and adhering to all applicable policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patient Care:
    • Room patients and prepare them for examination.
    • Triaging patient concerns and managing authorizations.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Check patients in and out of the facility.
    • Handle a combination of front and back end tasks within a smaller practice setting.
  • General Duties:
    • Ensure efficient patient flow and provide exceptional service in a 1:1 CMA to Physician ratio.
    • Assist with other duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the clinic.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must-Have Skills/Qualifications:

    • National CMA Certification.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
    • Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
    • Professionalism and the ability to be a team player.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient care.

SCHEDULE/SHIFT

  • Full-time position with shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

PAY:

  • $17 - $20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
