A Urology Clinic in Olympia, WA is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team.

The medical assistant stepping into this position can expect to be asked to support the back office with standard MA-C responsibilities, this includes rooming patients, taking vitals and helping provide general support to the clinic.

This is an extremely fast paced environment - there are five providers but they typically see upwards of 20 patients a day each. These clinics also offer surgical services, and the medical assistant stepping into this position will also be asked to assist in procedures. Below is a list detailing the procedures performed in this department:

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Rooming Patients, taking vitals signs an overall managing the flow of patients on a daily basis
• Conducting medication reviews and assessment with patients and communicating any anomalies to the responsible provider.
• Assistance in procedures relevant to urology
• Assistance in managing the in-basket of the provider team and following up regarding patient inquiries
• Sanitizing rooms after patients have been roomed, restocking and providing our clinical support to operations
• Providing general clinical support as directed

Requirements:

• CMA Certification through the Washington State DOH
• Tenor in previous roles
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
• 1+ years of experience

Additional Skills:

• EPIC Experience
• Good communication

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Contract Length:

700 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.

Pay:

$22 - $28 (Dependant on experience)
