Hiring Cash Postings / Refunds Manager!

Position Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cash Postings / Refunds Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of cash postings and refund processing. This role involves ensuring accurate posting of payments to accounts, timely processing of refunds, reconciling discrepancies, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, extensive experience in financial operations, and the ability to lead a team to meet performance goals while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise cash posting and refund teams, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of payments and refunds.
• Oversee the reconciliation of cash payments and adjustments, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Process and track refunds in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to payment discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to cash postings and refunds for management review.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of 14 direct reports, fostering a culture of high performance and compliance with guidelines.
• Train staff to improve performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain adherence to processes.
• Address issues as they arise, including missing payments or discrepancies in accounts.

Required Qualifications:

• Team lead experience - proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams.
• EPIC Experience - strong familiarity with EPIC software for cash posting and refund processing.
• Experience with hospital billing (HB) or physician billing (PB) operations.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
