Job description

  • Outbound Calling: Place outbound calls to patients and caregivers to assist in scheduling follow up visits and/or appointments.

  • Patient Engagement: Maintain a friendly and empathetic approach to engage with patients, ensuring their understanding of the purpose of the call and addressing any concerns or questions.

  • Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately record patient information, call details, and outcomes in the electronic health records (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with patient privacy regulations.

  • Customer Service: Deliver a high standard of customer service, displaying patience, professionalism, and problem-solving skills while handling patient inquiries and resolving issues.

  • Compliance: Adhere to healthcare regulations and guidelines, ensuring that all interactions are conducted in a manner consistent with healthcare industry standards.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the medical call center team, including inbound call representatives, to ensure seamless patient support and continuity of care.
