Billing Customer Service Representative

Job description

A large Healthcare organization in Renton, WA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team.

This is an onsite opportunity with room to grow and includes Benefits & PTO.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls (24-40 per day)
  • Collect patient payments via credit cards or electronic checks
  • Review patient accounts to check balances
  • Assist patients with applications for financial assistance programs
  • Assist patients with payment plans and refunds

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer Service Experience (Call Center experience preferred)
  • Healthcare experience preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay: $18-20.50 per hour depending on experience

Length: 800 Hours (approx. 20 weeks) contract to hire.

Benefits Provided by Medix:

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).

Sick Pay: You will receive one day of Sick Time after working 600 hours and an additional day of Sick Time for every 300 hours after. **Please note that if you're in a city/state with unique PTO requirements, the city/state's policy will override Medix's internal PTO policy.
