Medix Healthcare is HIRING NOW for 5 Billing Customer Service Representatives (CSR) in Phoenix, Arizona! These positions are full time, contract to hire, and a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a large organization in AZ!

Position Title: Billing Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (85034) - FULLY ONSITE

Pay: $18 - $19/hour (depending on years of experience)

Overview:

  • As a Billing Customer Service Rep you will be dealing directly with patient inquiries and complaints as well as issues as reported via phone or customer service calls and correspondence regarding their bills. You will also oversee collection of timely documentation from network providers and patients to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • This is a role where representatives will take inbound calls from patients regarding questions on their bills, and it is the Billing Customer Service Rep's responsibility to them and must be able to understand EOBs (must have EOB experience). Reps will also be responsible for updating patient accounts

Duties:

  • Receive 30-60 calls from patients and providers in reference to payment issues, patient service issues and updates on insurance data.
  • May also conduct outbound calls as necessary to Insurance companies and Doctor's offices (few).
  • Determining nature of calls and documenting via claim system (XIFIN) an appropriate associated reason code.
  • Effectively research, resolve and respond to billing issues accurately and expeditiously as you will be in a phone queue.
  • Take payments over the phone or set up a payment plan
  • Must be able to navigate through multiple windows/tabs/screens.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm (candidates MUST have flexibility to work ANY 8-hour shift between 7am-5:30pm, if needed)

Must Haves:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • 2+ years Call Center / Contact Center experience (high volume calls)
  • Strong phone presence / customer service skills

Soft Skills:

  • Great, positive attitude
  • Reliable / good attendance
