We are seeking an experienced Office Biller with strong expertise in Allscripts to join our team on a temporary basis. This role involves handling all aspects of the billing cycle, including claims submission, payment posting, insurance follow-up, and patient billing.

Position Details:

• Duration: 3 to 6 months (Temporary) with the current biller on leave of absence; anticipated return in 6 months.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility for a later start time if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full billing cycle, including claims submission, payment posting, insurance follow-up, and patient billing.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of pediatric billing claims.
• Handle "Vaccine for Children" billing in Tennessee, which requires manual adjustments to zero out charges per state requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with insurance and pediatric billing standards.

Must-Have Skills/Qualifications:

1. Recent experience with Allscripts/Veradigm software.
2. Pediatric billing expertise, with a solid understanding of pediatric coding and insurance processes.
3. Experience with Tennessee's "Vaccine for Children" program, including the ability to manually adjust charges.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in billing.
