Overview:

Bilingual Medical Assistant

Phoenix, AZ 85006

Contract With Potential For Permanent Hire

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Pay: $18-$21.50/HR DOE

HIRING ASAP

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Medical Assistant Diploma
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Open to new grad (MUST have externship under belt)
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English

Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner
  • Take the patients back to exam room
  • Obtain patient vital signs
  • Prepare paperwork pertaining to patient appointments
  • Check patients in, verifying and updating necessary information
  • Data entry into EMR and practice management systems- eClinicalWorks
  • Enter patient demographics
  • Scan medical charts into computer system
  • Answer phones and schedule patient appointments maintaining the doctor's schedule according to the doctor's specifications
  • Assist doctor with schedule and contribute to positive team environment
  • Track and log incoming referrals and contact patients to schedule appointments
  • Track and send outgoing medical records

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

    • At least 1 year of surgery scheduling experience
    • HS Diploma
    • Comfortable working on the phone and through different systems

  • Medical Terminology
  • Excellent Communication Skills

Nice to Have Skills

  • 6 months of MA experience (willing to train since this individual will not be going out of the office until April)
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR
  • Specialty experience

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Pay:

$19-$20/HR
