Responsibilities:
Verifies health insurance polices for all major commercial carriers as well as Medicare to ensure necessary procedures are covered by the individuals provider. Ensures that all insurance needed for billing and collection is appropriately obtained and entered into the patients records. Checks and enters all insurance information, works on all preauthorization's and pre determinations to ensure coverage. Follows up on outstanding claims and aging reports.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma

MUST HAVE Minimum 2+ years experience in a Medical Receptionist OR Revenue Cycle Experience postion

Knowledge of Insurance Carriers and policies
Bilingual and Fluent in Spanish Preferred
