Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Home Visit Research Coordinator I to assist our Investigators and research team with the planning and implementation of clinical trials, specifically the "Growing Together" study focused on pediatric primary care. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Promoting First Relationships® (PFR) home visiting model in enhancing caregiver sensitivity and protecting young infants from stress-related cellular aging.

This role will involve traveling around the Greater Raleigh area visiting Patients homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Participant Screening (20%)

  • Assess eligibility of potential subjects through screening interviews, medical record reviews, and consultations with healthcare professionals.

Research Study Enrollment (20%)

  • Recruit, consent, and enroll participants in their homes, including blood spot collection from adults and infants.

Research Subject Follow-Up (20%)

  • Conduct in-home follow-up visits, record adverse event and side effect data, and perform blood spot collection as required.

Research Study Communications (15%)

  • Coordinate study requirements and scheduling with patients, labs, imaging, and healthcare staff to ensure smooth implementation.

Data Collection (15%)

  • Collect and enter physical assessment data from medical records and diagnostic tests; respond to data queries.

IRB Submission Preparation (5%)

  • Assist in preparing Institutional Review Board submissions, including reviews and reports related to protocol deviations and adverse events.

Records Maintenance (5%)

  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field (Preferred)

Experience:

  • 2 Years of Medical Experience (Preferred)
  • 1 year of clinical or research experience (Preferred)
  • Experience in EMS or Home Health (Preferred)

Skills:

  • Bilingual in English & Spanish (Senior Level)
  • Proficiency in general computer skills and Microsoft Office (Intermediate Level)
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills (Senior Level)

Physical Demands:

This position may require light to moderate physical activity, including lifting and carrying up to 25-35 lbs.
