Bilingual Behavioral Health Clinician (Hybrid) (LMSW/LCSW)

JOB SUMMARY

The Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling and supportive services for a diverse population experiencing persistent and chronic mental illness.

Work from home 3 days a week; onsite 2 days a week. Spanish speaking is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Gathers, analyzes and evaluates data collected relating to the patient's bio-psychosocial and family problems, current mental status and individual/family functioning.
• Completes Intake Assessments and diagnostic evaluations and develops treatment plans, acting collaboratively with the patient and the treatment team in order to define appropriate goals, outcomes and time frames for treatment ability DSM-V.
• Carries a caseload at an acceptable level as defined in the Center's or Program's service commitments or productivity goals
• Intervening psychotherapeutically with patients by utilizing individual, group and family therapy modalities in order to improve the individual's level of functioning.

JOB SPECIFICS:

• This role is Full time: Monday - Friday 8:30a-4:30pm
• 3 days Remote (work from home) and 2 days onsite in the clinic setting
• Location: Bronx, New York 10456 (outpatient setting)
• Active Clinical License: LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW
• Pay: 67-90k/yr

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active License in NY: LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW
• Must be fluent speaking Spanish.
• Excellent organization skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently, excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team approach demonstrated ability to coordinate managed care activities and interface with other managed care providers.
• Ability to integrate psychological theory, research and practice.
