Back Office Medical Assistant
Job description
We are looking for a back office Medical Assistant for one of our top clients in St. Louis, MO! Looking to work for one of the best health institutes in STL? This is for you!
Role Overview:
- Assist the assigned physician with direct patient care and clinical tasks.
- Room and prepare 15-30+ patients per day, ensuring accurate charting and medical history updates.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Conduct EKGs and ensure proper interpretation is documented.
- Administer vaccinations and other injections as per physician orders.
- Document and update patients' medical histories, ensuring accuracy and completeness in the EMR system.
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, assisting the physician as needed.

Requirements:
- Graduation from an Accredited Medical Assisting program
- Active BLS
- Active Medical Assistant Certification (Not required to start, but would be needed wtihin 30 days of starting)
Location: St. Louis, MO 63110
Schedule: M-F 8:00- 4:30 (No weekends, no holidays!)
Pay: $17.00-20.00/hr
