Job description

Glendale, Scottsdale,Phoenix, Chandler & Prescott Locations Available!!

Duties:

  • Performs patient care activities such as back office check-in, check-out, prescription refills, anemia and iron management, administering injections, scheduling procedures and providing patient education.
  • Schedules and processes 24-hour blood pressure monitoring.
  • Interviews patients; measures vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height; and records information on patients' charts.
  • Notifies physician of changes in patient's clinical status and/or abnormal test results.
  • Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests.
  • Monitors and optimizes allotted time slots in all schedules, utilizing the available programs/reports.
  • Completes clerical tasks including, but not limited to, distributing mail and reports, filing, scanning, scheduling, data input, answering phones and general support to all office personnel.
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures, and prioritizes and completes day to day activities.
  • Maintains office equipment, office and medical supplies through efficient inventory management.
  • Processes Appointment Tickler Reports and mail tickler and no-show letters to patients; follows up with patients and/or primary care physicians as needed.
  • Processes medical record requests for patients, adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure HPI or forwards to appropriate department or personnel for completion.
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

MA Diploma , 1 + Years of MA Experience, HS Diploma / GED

Nice to Have Skills:

Bilingual (Spanish & English), Nephrology / Specialty Experience, Experience in Busy Medical Office

Schedule/Shift:

Mon - Fri, 8 to 5pm
