Job description

Now Hiring for Medical Assistants in Chandler, AZ! New Grads Encouraged to Apply!

Duties:

  • Room patients - escort patients to exam rooms, obtain vital signs, and assist with medical history documentation
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including pelvic exams, pap smears, and ultrasounds
  • Provide patient education on women's health topics, including contraception, prenatal care, and menopause management
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and pregnancy tests, and accurately record results in patient charts.
  • Create patients charts, they use Athena EMR system
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including medical history, medications, and allergies
  • Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and messages promptly and professionally. Call patients to giving results
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and surgeries as required. Sterilize and prepare medical instruments and equipment for procedures and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Stock exam rooms with necessary supplies and ensure equipment is in proper working order. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas.
Must Have Skills/Qualifications:
  • Open to new grads!
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, EMR systems, and basic clinical procedures
  • Teamwork and ability to multi-task
  • MA Diploma
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Bilingual
  • Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA)
  • Prior experience working in a women's health or OBGYN setting
Schedule/Shift:

Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-3

Pay:

$19-$21/hr
