Pay: $22.60/HR

Shift: Friday through Sunday, 11PM to 11AM

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment
• Familiarity with documentation processes in a manufacturing setting
• Leadership and logistics experience from military service, along with mechanical skills or training relevant to a manufacturing environment
• Completion of trade school or hands-on experience in various construction trades

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set Up Machines: Prepare machines for production according to the specified batch records.
• Material Verification: Confirm that materials meet the necessary standards before use, following the relevant standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Ensure Production Efficiency: Maintain efficient production by ensuring materials are readily available and at proper levels for continuous operation.
• Adjust Machines: Enhance production efficiency through minor machine adjustments within validated parameters.
• Supervise Personnel: Oversee personnel assigned to assist with the machine, including directing them in cleaning and clearing tasks. Ensure that Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are followed before support personnel begin their work.
• Collaborate and Escalate: Work with support teams and escalate issues appropriately when experiencing low efficiency.
• Evaluate Efficiency: Regularly assess and report on machine efficiency, including downtime, throughput, and reject rates.
• Conduct Verifications: Carry out in-process verifications and address challenges as necessary.
• Finalize Production: Complete production closeout tasks, including material returns, product and component reconciliations, line cleaning and clearance, and reviewing the closeout batch record.
• Identify Quality Issues: Recognize and escalate any quality-related concerns.
• Complete Documentation: Prepare supporting documentation as required.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure a clean and organized manufacturing area to support the sustainability of the 5S project.
• Follow Safety Guidelines: Perform all tasks in accordance with applicable safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Assume Additional Roles: When not assigned to an automated machine, you may be tasked with functions of a lower-level operator or group lead as needed.
