Responsibilities/Duties:
-- Obtain MRI Orders/requests for target locations in the organization by monitoring our EMR System, phone, online, or emails.
-- Conduct Online/Phone Authorization request for MRI's.
-- Conduct Online/Phone authorization investigation of MRI benefits.
-- Communication of authorization/benefits/co-payments to patients prior to exams.
-- Update authorization status through process and confirm receipt of MRI.
-- Scheduling of MRI and follow-up visits with the physicians.
-- Facilitation of Peer-to-Peer reviews for MRI, as needed.
-- Provision of Medical records in pursuit of MRI's.
-- Documentation of Authorization processed through various systems: Centricity/Exscribe/Health I Pass
-- Other duties as assigned.
