Job Title: Authorization & Benefits Coordinator

Job Details:

• The Billing team is 12 people, broken up into 3 departments - Coding, Payements, and AR
  
  • This position technically falls into their AR team
• When not doing prior auth, you will lend a hand to AR team
• There is a a billing help desk line for internal teammates, they support this 1x week
• "Collections day" 1x month, where they call patients that owe money and collect on these outstanding payments (everyone helps with this)
• Over the phone consultations or via portal - no face to face interaction with patients
• Roughly 20-30 calls per day
• Metrics: Must be at a 97% accuracy rate on estimates and claims

Client Location: Northern Colorado Springs

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Experince working in a billing setting
• Insurance verification experince
• Friendly and coachable

Schedule/ Shift:

• Can pick between 5 days a week or 4 days a week (4 10's)
• Hybrid after training, 2 days remote if you work 5 days, 1 day remote if you work 4.
