Job Title: IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Position Type: Long-term Contract (12 + months)
Work Location: Hybrid Onsite - Cleveland Area
Compensation: $40-$45 / hour

ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is a global provider of medical supplies and equipment, with more than 15,000 employees spanning ~ 100+ locations in the US. This role will be responsible for planning and executing small and medium sized IT Infrastructure projects - such as Inside Plant Telecom, Network Infrastructure and systems configuration / upgrade projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Joining a team as an Associate Project Manager - which will include up to 6 weeks of shadowing and training with Senior PM's
  • Planning for projects through the creation of Gantt charts to track tasks, timelines, dependencies, and progress.
  • Delivering the project stages of infrastructure platforms and equipment - from design, hardware procurement, deployment, and operations lifecycle.
  • Tracking the budget and funding channels.
  • Projects will be relayed to ISP (cabling, circuits, telecom), Networking (router/switch/wireless upgrades), Moves Adds Changes (MAC), Server / Systems Infrastructure and more.
  • Providing on-site coordination and oversight for installations
  • Partnering with Managed Services vendors
  • Updating documentation and successfully implementing the deliverables
  • Identify opportunities to streamline deployments, share best practices with peers and leaders and implement continuous improvement / Lean actions on a regular basis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Local to Cleveland and willing to work onsite
  • Required Minimum 3 years professional experience wearing a Project Coordinator or Project Manager hat
  • Required minimum 3 years managing IT Infrastructure projects

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Work location is hybrid on-site in Mentor, OH - at least 1 day / week. Talent must reside in the greater Cleveland / Erie area for consideration.
