Job description
Medix is currently hiring for Mechanical Assemblers in Darien, WI. This is with a manufacturer of power generators, providing back up power to universities, shopping malls, hospitals and data centers across the globe. Do to a recent expansion, they are seeking 10 individuals to join their team with openings on both first and second shift. This is a 3 month contract to hire, with full training provided.
First Shift; Monday - Saturday, 5AM - 3:30PM paying $21 / hour
Second Shift; Monday - Friday or Saturday, 4PM - 12:30AM - 2AM paying $23 / hour.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand and power tools to assemble generators per blueprint
- Workings with insulation and powder coating
- Must be comfortable working on ladders
- Knowledge and comfortable reading a tape measure (assessment required)
- Must be able to pass background and drug screen
