Assembler Position Overview:
The Assembler position with Medix is a 3 month contract to hire position with a large engine and generator manufacturer with facilities in Darien and Beloit, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling large generators and enclosure systems that are used for backup power at places such as hospitals and data centers. There will be a 3 week training program that you will automatically be enrolled in starting your first day where you will learn how to assemble the units from ground up using hand and power tools. Work will require you to climb on ladders, use lifts, work with insulation and wear protective PPE (such as Steel Toed Boots) at all times.

The company you will be assigned to has recently purchased a new facility in Beloit and is in process of expanding the existing facility in Darien - a lot of growth happening! You will also be eligible for profit sharing from day 1 of starting at Medix. Depending on how the company performs, you can earn a bonus of up to $6,000.00. There are other incentives including perfect attendance awards and raffle prizes quarterly!
