AR Follow Up Representative

Are you someone in the with AR Follow Up experience and contract-based focus on Medicare replacement plans? We are hiring a fully remote AR Follow Up Representative to work with a major hospital network in the DMV. This is a fully remote opportunity, so we can pull from any state! Overview:

Interprets and evaluates appeals to include follow-up with payers to assure timely turn around for claims resolution and reimbursement. Must be able to interpret explanation of benefits and have a clear understanding of payer methodology. Works in a team environment.

-MUST HAVE appeal experience and contract experience (under payment experience) as well as EOB experience

-Prior productivity experience in last role be at least 55 accounts per day. T

-Calling the payer, checking the portal, and contacting the patient

-Some accounts may be just a balance that will need to be rolled to the patient and the next could be a more complicated account that requires a phone call to the payer.

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience in patient accounting, accounts receivable, AR Follow Up.
• Must be comfortable working at least 55 accounts per day!
• Must have contract experience (under payment experience)
• Must have appeal experience
• Must be reliable and able to WFH with no issues
• Must be computer savvy/ fast learner.
• Detailed working knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in at least one specific payers application billing and/or collection process.
• Requires basic working knowledge of UB04 and Explanation of Benefits (EOB). Requires some knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/IDC-9 coding. Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficient uses of hospital registration and/or billing systems and personal computers as well as Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
• Ability to type 35 WPM.

Schedule:

Flexibility in the shifts (ideally would like the person to work 8-4:30) but can start at 7am and work until 3:30pm if they would like

Pay Rate: $20.00-$24.00
