Job Description: As an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) specializing in Occupational Health, you will be responsible for the administration of treatments and care for injured employees. This may include administering treatments, performing physical examinations, diagnostic tests and screenings, counseling and educating patients regarding treatment regimens, and other basic medical care functions.

• Coordinates with multiple stakeholders for providing health services and programs to the company employees in offices/plant locations, with diligence and consistency in a timely manner in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Participates in case management meetings to reduce the impact of absenteeism related to occupational or non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Implements company policies, protocols, and procedures for nursing tasks associated with medical screenings and tests, such as pre-employment medical examinations, fitness-for-duty tests, return-to-work assessments for occupational injuries/illnesses, or specific health assessments required for certain job roles in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Educates patients at the company's medical facilities on the importance of adherence to prescribed medications, training on wound care techniques, pain management strategies, preparing patients for safe discharge, etc. with the objective of providing patient-centered care with empathy, kindness, and professionalism.
• Responsible for departmental OSHA recordkeeping requirements related to medical records and ensuring that the medical staff understands the requirements of OSHA recordkeeping.

Qualifications:

• Education: NP or PA degree.
• Previous experience in occupational health, urgent care, or a related field preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Licensure: Must be licensed to practice and prescribe legally in Illinois.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions.

Compensation: $125,000-$135,000 USD (Dependent upon experience)
