Job description

Medix is currently hiring an Administrative Assistant for a well established healthcare organization in Los Angeles 90005! This position holds a key role in the program's operations.

Responsibilities

  • Performing clerical duties (e.g. filing, faxing, photocopying, scanning, typing, emailing, generating letters) accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assists the Registered Nurse oversee the daily operations of various tasks.
  • Coordinates medical and psychiatric care.
  • Obtaining medical documents from outside providers.
  • Tracks paper flow into and out of the office.
  • Coordinating client transportation.
  • Conducting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual documentation reviews for quality assurance.
  • Communicates accurate writing and oral messages.
  • Types miscellaneous documents for Registered Nurse.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information.

Experience

  • Experience in a healthcare or medical office
  • Experience interfacing with pharmacies
  • Bilingual Spanish - not required

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm

Pay Rate: $24/hr
