Job description

Hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Fife, WA!

Schedule: M-F 8-4 PM / fully on-site role

Pay: Range is between $25-$28.85/hr depending on experience & qualifications

Day to day:

  • Collaborates with applicable contracted agencies/personnel to effectively manage daily operations associated with billing, coding, and the revenue cycle for the clinic.
  • Completes billing and coding for billable activities at the practice.
  • Performs coding and reimbursement duties associated with all clinical activity of the practice.
  • Ensures accurate medical necessity documentation within clinical dictations.
  • Audits all infusion billing for correct documentation, including waste, required for maximum
    reimbursement.
  • Works alongside the finance team to address and appeal all denials until payment is received or appeals
    are no longer permitted.
  • Works with intake staff to collect all patient-owed balances, applying applicable write-off codes when
    appropriate and approved by the Practice Administrator and finance team.
  • The individual will work on denials, patient payments and provide back-up to the front desk and NP
    referrals.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Denials experience
  • Billing / coding experience
  • A/R experience

Benefits:

- In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
