Accounts Receivable Representative - Hybrid Schedule

We are hiring for Accounts Receivable Representatives to join our team in the Fort Lee, NJ area. We are seeking candidates who are professional, reliable, and match the listed qualifications below.

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Representative

Pay: $19-23/hr

Available Location(s): Fort Lee, NJ (hybrid schedule-- in office 2 days per week)

Concerning parking, It's limited; however, there are parking meters outside the building, with electronic payment methods.

Overview

• Metrics - 40 accts/day. They will start with less around 15-20 and ramp up when ready
• Laptop and monitor will be provided
• Work off EPIC emr system
• Insurance follow up
• Resubmittal of claims
• Correct denials
• Identifying trends

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• EPIC experience is a MUST
• Min of 1 year exp in AR insurance follow up / collections
• Understanding of denials - what they mean and how to overturn
• How to utilize insurance portals - Availity, United Healthcare, Connex, etc.
• How to put together documentation for appeals
• Coding knowledge - CPC is a plus
• Contacting payers and know how to dispute
