Job Opportunity: Accounts Receivable Representative

Location: Fully remote, equipment provided
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay: $21 - $25 per hour

Are you passionate about healthcare and excel in medical billing and patient accounting? Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Receivable Representative.



What You Will Do:

As an Accounts Receivable Representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our patients have a seamless billing experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Interaction: Assist inter-company customers with insurance matters, current account statuses, and billing inquiries. Maintain detailed records of all patient interactions and account updates for seamless follow-up.
  • Payment Processing: Ensure patient statement balances are current, process payments, and post payments received by check, cash, or electronic methods. Post charges from superbills and handle ART cycles and surgeries billing.
  • Billing Coordination: Send out statements, payments due notices, and provide insurance claim forms upon request. Coordinate billing when insurance covers procedures, complete appeals, and send necessary documentation to resolve reimbursement issues.
  • Account Management: Maintain and update patient accounts, verify that services billed match services rendered, and notify the Patient Financial Services Department of owed monies after charges are posted.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete daily reports, ensure accuracy in posting charges and payments, and verify patient accounts and electronic medical records.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in patient accounting, medical billing, and insurance.
  • Ability to function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and inter-company customers.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing billing, payments, and account updates accurately.
